FACTS AND QUESTIONS
How long will it take to get my order?
Shipping time is generally within a week from the date we ship your order.
When you place an order, we advise you, in good faith, of expectations and we will let you know if we are aware of any unforeseen delays in your product. However, products, if available, may ship immediately or before the "typical time" indicated. Unfortunately, since cost has been incurred, any item that has already shipped cannot be cancelled. If the product is returned without our agreement, it will be subject to additional shipping costs.
Ship times for made-to-order, custom and special order items may vary from our normal lead times. Sometimes they will ship sooner and sometimes later than expected. But don't worry, we will keep you updated on these special items!
Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. We currently do not ship Internationally.
Shipping damage is rare, but does happen. It is of the utmost importance that any damages are reported to us as soon as possible (within 1-2 days of receipt) and not later than 3 days from the receipt of product. If you allow this time to elapse, no claims can be made; a return cannot be accepted and we will be unable to provide a replacement or refund. If you intend to store an item for later use, please unpack it as soon as you receive it and check for damages. If you find any type of damage, please email us and we will be happy to discuss it with you.
We do not sell/share any of your personal information with any 3rd party. We use it ONLY for processing your order. However, you may automatically be added to our mailing list to receive coupons, updates and new product launches.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Our mission here at Merdo Acres is that you receive products exactly as described, but, if you do need to make a return of handmade cutting boards, or other items, our intention is to make it hassle free. If the product you received is damaged, we will gladly take it back. If the product you received is not as described on our website product page, please send us an email immediately so we can help you with a replacement. If damaged in transit, please see above for our Damage Policy. Claims must be reported to us within 3 days of delivery. Any claims after this period cannot be accepted. All shipping fees back to Merdo Acres will be the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise negotiated. Once item is received back to Merdo Acres, a refund will be issued to the customer.
If your item has been engraved and you need changes, please reach out to us directly to discuss.
Returns for other reasons cannot be allowed. All sales are final once they leave our business.

Any items returned to Merdo Acres without notification cannot be accepted and will be refused.
Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Unfortunately, we do not accept orders outside of the US. Check back often as we will be adding this option in the future.
How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?
The WIX checkout process uses PayPal, one of the most trusted online payment solutions on the web. Because of this, WIX has all of the same securities and payment fraud protection as PayPal.com. Before entering any personal credit card information, you will transferred to PayPal's secure servers. PayPal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
